When Harry Met……Lennon
Lennon and I were babysitting on day in october. It was rainy, but we decided to rake leaves, and Lennon decided to get in to the wheel barrel…You should have heard those little girls laugh.
Later that day we went to get pumpkins, as the girls were picking their pumpkin out Lennon met a big Bernese mountain dog named Harry. Harry took a liking to Lennon, I then had to explain why the “doggy was dancing.” Dirty dancing, if you know what I mean. Thank you Harry.

Though I am a vegetarian, the man and canine team that is formed in the sport of Bird Hunting is beautiful. My dad has always trained our dogs to bird hunt, and since I was little I enjoyed going with him and watching the dogs at work. The dogs experience nothing but pure joy, and it is amazing to see them running, nose down, tail up.
I have an uncle that raises Irish setters for hunting, and this was an even he held with about 30 other hunters on a weekend in September. Lennon’s older sister, Madison and my dad participated in the event and Lennon tagged along to experience the smells and sounds of hunting, because my dad was positive she was destined to be a great bird dog.
He was right, she found herself a bird and Mister, she wasn’t going to let him go for anybody. My dad was so proud of her.
When you love dogs like I do, you have no room on your own bed, and sometimes you sleep of the floor, because it is a shame to disturb a peacefully sleeping dog.

This was a day too beautiful for January in New England! My dad took my senior photos at my uncle’s seasonal home in Pike, NH. Lennon came along, this is a collection of the photos that she decided to be in, let me just say that though she is highly photogenic, she hates to have her picture taken-I think its an issue of patents.
